By completing a purchase you are in agreement with all the terms, conditions and policies as stated on this page and on any other page of JAKL KIDS website (www.JAKLKIDS.ca).

All online orders must be completed using a Canadian address and be paid with a Canadian credit card. Orders not meeting these requirements may be cancelled and subject to a 10% processing fee.

Pre-orders

Release dates of products are to be considered an estimate and may change by days or even weeks in rare cases. Delays, product allocation issues, and any situation we are unable to control may result in a reduction or cancellation of a pre-order. In the rare event of your pre-order being cancelled, JAKL KIDS will refund 100% of the purchase price. If the price of a pre-ordered item is lowered before the release date, JAKL KIDS will refund the difference in price between the original pre-order price paid and the lower amount. Price increases due to additional charges at the distribution level or any other charges, tariffs, taxes and/or duties that may increase the cost of an item may cause an increase in the sale price and additional payment may be required if you still wish to purchase the pre-ordered item. Please note that these cases are extremely rare. If you prefer not to pay the difference  and no longer wish to purchase the item JAKL KIDS will happily offer a full refund.

Pre-order Cancellations

Any cancellation of Pre-ordered items, regardless of the reason, will be subject to a 10% fee to cover processing fee’s paid by JAKL KIDS.

Shipping Date of Pre-orders

Pre-ordered items will ship no earlier than the official public release date. Current release dates may change for any reason and JAKL KIDS will not be held liable for any change in a product release date. If you wish to have your product on the release date, you may choose to pick up in-store instead at time of checkout.

In-Store Pick Up

JAKL KIDS offers in-store pick up with no minimum purchase required. In-stock items are typically ready for pickup within 24 business hours but please wait until you receive your "ready for pick up" email before arriving to pick up your purchase. Please ensure to check your junk or spam folders if you have not received an email within 24 business hours. Please bring your order number and an original valid government-issued photo ID. We will not release an order without a valid ID. Note: Photos or digital copies of your ID are not accepted. When placing an order online, customers must provide the exact legal name as it appears on their government-issued identification. A preferred name may be included; however, the legal name must appear within the order details. If applicable, this information may be provided in the order notes in lieu of the name field. For orders with a total value of $500 and above, the purchaser may be required, at the time of pickup, to present the credit card used to complete the transaction together with an orginal valid government-issued photo identification. The photo identification and credit card information must match exactly to the details used to place the online order. Any discrepancy may result in the refusal to release the order.

Shipping Policy

 JAKL KIDS offers shipping within Canada (excluding Nunavut, Northwest Territories and Yukon) on all orders for a fee. Orders typically ship via Canada Post Expedited Parcel within 3 business days of receiving your order and cleared payment. Shipments will typically arrive 3-5 business days after being shipped. Oversized and heavy items may have additional cost or may not be available for shipping and must be picked up in store.

 Please be aware that if your order contains multiple items, they may not all ship together or at the exact same time.

 JAKL KIDS will not be responsible for any duties, customs, taxes or any other monetary cost incurred by the customer as a result of shipping or making a purchase.

Shipping within Ontario

$24.95 Expedited Parcel shipping for an order of regular priced merchandise. Shipping address must be within Ontario, Canada.

Shipping Canada Wide (we do not ship to Nunavut, Northwest Territories and Yukon).

$34.95 Expedited Parcel shipping for an order of regular priced merchandise. Shipping address must be within Canada (we do not ship to Nunavut, Northwest Territories and Yukon).

Oversized Shipping on orders

Large, heavy, sale and high value items may be subject to an additional "Oversized" charge. Oversized shipping costs may not be shown at time of checkout.

Oversized, Heavy and Remote Location Orders

Please note that under certain circumstances there may be additional shipping charges that must be paid for by the customer. Should a situation arise where there are additional shipping charges, we will contact the customer at which point the charges can be paid or the order may be cancelled at the customer’s request.

 JAKL KIDS  does not ship to Nunavut, Northwest Territories or Yukon.

Orders Containing Pre-ordered Items

When an order includes a pre-order item(s), all items will be held and shipped together on or after the latest pre-order release date. For faster delivery of items, we recommend placing pre-orders with varying release dates and/or in stock items in separate orders.

Problems With Shipping and Item Condition

In the event that an order is received with damage, the customer must notify JAKL KIDS within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery. Notification must be made by email to JAKL KIDS. To be eligible for assistance, the customer must provide the order number, a detailed description of the damage, and clear photographic evidence of the damaged item and packaging. JAKL KIDS may, at its discretion, assist the customer in submitting a claim to the shipping carrier for potential reimbursement. JAKL KIDS assumes no responsibility or liability for any loss, damage, or delay that occurs during transit, as all shipments are handled by third-party carriers.

 JAKL KIDS is not liable for any product(s) purchased online that are stolen, misplaced, lost in transit, not received due to the customer entering an incorrect or incomplete address, damaged during shipping, or not received by the customer for any other reason. Small Tears, Scuffs, bends and creases due to the shipping process is normal and will not be grounds for compensation of any kind. All our products are thoroughly inspected and packaged with care, however we can not control the handling of an order once it is in transport. If your order is returned due to an error with the address supplied at the time an order was placed, any shipping costs and costs to reship are the responsibility of the purchaser.
